Discipline issues led to team breakdown-- the whole team was playing super, super tight and the Dunlap was suspended. They didn't play loose until the Sugar Bowl, ironically if Florida loses the Arkansas game I think they probably win the SEC title and national title games.

Oh and Steve Addazio, if we had Mullen that probably flips the game, our offense became exponentially less creative without Mullen as the OC (Percy was huge but remember Florida won big without Percy for decent parts of the 08 title run-- including against Bama in the SEC title game).

Bama played harder and was the better team. It's as simple as that.

yep that loss sucked, and we certainly didn't play our best, but bama was a damn good team who played a great game.

the 2010-11 losses in BDS and BHG weren't fun, though

What happened in the SEC Championship game?

Tebow hadn't recovered from this: KO'd.

This too. He never looked "right" again that season until the FSU game.

Honestly, he should have never been in the LSU game. At all.

UF's defense probably would've beaten LSU by itself.

I thought this was the worst offensive game plan ever. We had a good rushing attack and if I remember correctly, running backs only touched the ball 4 times or some crazy number.

Bama had the better team that day, we couldn't tackle on D and they wanted it more. The 2009 team was a great team but not to the level of 2008, 2006, 1995, 1996 or even 1984. Better than anything since unfortunately.

All of those UF teams would've beaten 09 UF like a drum.

If the 2012 team had either one of Grossman/Leak/Tebow and Harvin. GOAT imo.
