Florida came to BR and shut us up. Doesn't matter who shoulda won. Florida won.

But if Irma goes as projected and the cupcake is moved to noon, it's just gonna reinforce the theory that Florida ducked LSU when they were at a weak moment.

Good for Florida
Watching their team, it definitely needs to be played.

All that shittalking did you guys no good last year.

I'm sure it will make a difference this year though!

Y'all came to tiger stadium and left with the W fair and square. Don't act like you didn't get pushed around all day though, the better team doesn't always win.

--------------------LSU---------UF
Score--------------10----------16
Total yards------423--------270
Rush yards------219-------144
Pass yards------204--------126 (98 on 1 play)
First Down--------23---------14
T.O.P---------------34---------26
Turnover------------2-----------0

Highlights
-LSU: 1st and Goal Fumble
-LSU: Failed fake FG from the 2
-UF: 98 yard TD pass
-LSU Fumbled kickoff, UF ball at the 12
-LSU: Guice runs wrong way at goal line

Hopefully it was a learning experience for O in regards to controlling team emotion and the ensuing mental mistakes. Glad it was during a transition year that is cost us a game against a bad team.

LSU fans are confident this year because we are the better team. Nothing more, nothing less. Barring another serious bed shitting we will handle y'all fairly easily on the score board as well as between the white lines.

I am sure they will figure it out. They did that last year perfectly. Postpone the game because it's scheduled to rain in Chicago.

What happened was Florida proved to Alabama that LSU/Florida is a better rivalry and Alabama/Tennessee.

We'll see who has the first ever rivalry rematch in the SECCG. It will be LSU/Florida first, and then maybe Alabama/Tennessee 2nd. (that is if Auburn/Georgia doesn't do it before Alabama/Tennessee

Weren't te rules changed such that Sankey now has the decision? He didn't have that power last year to make the decision. I seem to remember that change was going to be made.

You fricking scored 10 points and an undermanned Gator defense stopped you time and again from scoring, but heres a little tiny napkin for you to cry on.

Be careful writing checks with your mouths that your asses cant cash...all we heard was that we were pussy and afraid of big bad LSU....and going to be beaten by 38-0....how'd that work for you?

I'm not worried about it at all. The whole point of this conversation is to point out UF's willingness to do what's necessary get a game played when it suits them.

Good on Florida for being flexible with the time this season in the wake of the hurricane. Hopefully the situation will continued to be monitored in case emergency personnel need to be on alert for the storm and the game cancelled if it in any way affects the storm preparation.

Also, any word on the suspension length of the Florida players, and if the game isn't played would those players be suspended from the Tennessee game?

To revisit last year one more time, UF didn't want to give up a home game, LSU was not flexible to reschedule until the SEC stepped in and insisted. The game was moved to BR to make LSU happy and the Gators won that game 16-10 and will play LSU at home in 2017 and 2018.
win/win for the Gators and loss/loss for the Tigers.

“How important is the game when you’re talking about peoples’ lives?” McElwain said. “Our guys were looking forward to this, obviously playing in The Swamp is a special, special thing. Whatever happens, we’re going to do what’s best.”

What a pathetic loser, he'll be fired within two years.

If I'm Northern CO, I would refuse to fly in for the game.

Sorry to burst your bubble but they were included in the agreement to move the game, unlike some other teams that wouldn't cooperated.

Or maybe one was supposed to hit Saturday morning and the other isn't expected until late Saturday night early Sunday morning?.

I understand that doesn't fit the narrative though.

Never would have happened if Florida was playing an opponent with a pulse.
