You've just lost your starting QB for the season. He looked great and looked set to bring you back to national prominence. Instead, turning to Harris probably means back to the Muschamp era teams. It's now a virtual lock that you'll be slaugtered by LSU. Despite the impending collapse, you still could hold on for the East. Although that's a double edged sword, as it means another round with LSU. Two games against Fournette and player safety becomes a legitimate concern. I worry about a guy like VHIII, who has such a bright future ahead. After what LF did to him last year as a true freshman, two games against him is a major concern. Florida coaches may even tell him to pull back if Fournette is coming his way in the open field. He couldn't do anything about it anyway and it's not worth getting in the way of a train.

To make matters worse, LSU is about to get a commitment from Shavar Manuel, which will give LSU 3 of the top 10 Florida recruits (Florida doesn't have any). This weekend will give LSU 5 of the last 6 against Florida, an SEC championship meeting gives LSU 6 of 7. With FSU being the hot Florida school, and LSU owning UF on the field, and taking Florida recruits left and right, they could fall to Miami-esque ranks.

I'm sure this has been discussed, but have you figured out any coping mechanisms?

I just have this feeling that our secondary is going to have a great game this week?? Maybe it's all the talking FL does in the off season. Even bf their QB was caught cheating with performance drugs I felt LSU would still rush for 300+ and pass for 200+ balance from here on out. The OL did a great job pass blocking this week and they will continue.

Yep. I think we continue to improve this Saturday.

Not only will we win, but LSU is gonna start scaring natl media and other sec schools that have been saying we're one faceted.

I like how everyone was saying that Harris had a bad game vs E Michigan

You know the people who didnt really watch the game, they just looked at the stats and said oh he played terrible... keep thinking that about our stud QB...

Florida's been to a BCS bowl more recently than LSU, will go to Atlanta this season, and will close with a strong class.

Treon was the SEC All-Freshman team QB last year and now isn't burdened by Muschamp, he has 50-50 shot to beat LSU, will compete for an SEC title (probably against Bama, but possibly against TAMU or Ole Miss), frankly we're Florida we just needed a good coach to be back and now we one.

I'm glad his first start this year is against a relatively weak defense that gives up more than 3 TDs a game- it'll be a good warm up for when he has to face real defenses.

But hey Coonass Mark Richt is a good coach too, so its possible he can ride Lenny Trill to a Cotton Bowl this year!

So you are +280 and +8 points and you are 50/50. Wow. I thought Florida was a high academic school.

We were also a 7 point dog at home to Ole Miss-- how'd that work out again?

That game VS ole miss. Who had the home crowd with them from opening kickoff?

That's not how it will be saturday night in death valley.

And I was all over Florida. Terrible matchup for om but the bama win created unrealistic expectations. If you think the two teams and the environment are similar....OK.
