Everyone dogged Mizzou for playing a "down" East, but yet Florida wins it, gets their ace waxed in the conference championship game only to get beyond waxed in their bowl game and not a peep.

This year's Florida team would have been destroyed by Mizzou 2013 and 2014.

Last year's Mizzou vs this year's uf would end up 3-2 like that auburn miss state game a few years back

Ya East was down this year A little , best Teams got slow start . Florida won by starting strong and holding on even though they struggled at the end of the year .

Without Grier in their game that may have been the score this year.

They gave a better Bama more of a game than Mizzou did last year.

Let's not pretend like those Mizzou teams were actually worth a shite on the big boy scale.

True enough, but like AU and Arkansas, they played Bama tougher than they should have on paper. That's not much but it's something.

(Before UT fans start protesting, UT is 9-4 and were pretty scary even at the time of the game, so UT lived up to their billing rather than exceeded it. To quote the acclaimed felon Martha Stewart, that's a good thing, not an insult.)

Yep, but "Big 6" members have a rule against admitting these things.

Honestly our team this past year was the best team the East has had in either of the last 2 years.
