No doubt...This is an incredibly dangerous storm and everyone should prepare properly for it. I hope and pray for the state of Florida and any others affected by Irma.

Surely the game could have been played at Northern Colorado?

Always last minute decisions. Two games were moved to Birmingham for this weekend, and Miami cancelled the Ark State game yesterday or the day before.

The storm took an unexpected turn.

I'm glad to see that. I was looking forward to some football but there is logistically too much shite going on in Fla right now to try and play a football game.

Do you think we'll be able to play next week or will we have move to a neutral site?

Unless Irma changes course again, the entire state will be a disaster zone. The interstates and side roads are clogged and moving at 20 MPH. Tried to get some more supplies last night and there is nothing left. Rode around town for a little bit looking for gas, ended up paying $3.73 per gallon.

Bad shite is coming.

I'd be scared shitless. I'm afraid I'd have to load up my family with extra gas cans in the truck, food supplies, dog, etc. and make a go of it on the interstates to evacuate. Even if the roadways are going at a snails pace, I'd just have to get the hell out of there.

Has FL revealed what options were on the table? This has been known for 8 days now with a FL impact. Would be interested in hearing if FL looked into playing elsewhere, Colorado, or a different date?

Did FL automatically think that a CAT 5 Irma in which models predicted would hit at least some part of FL 10 days ago would have no impact for the game?

My brother lives in Okeechobee in a manufactured house. He's disabled and they can't really travel. His inlaws live a couple of streets over, in a more stable home, but this is looking bad in their area.

Everyone pray for people in the path of this.

This game is Nortern Colorado... it means nothing in the global impact on College Football. Similar to LSU-McNeese game a few yrs ago. Cancel it and get the hell out of the way. This in no way changes how I feel anout the UF-LSU debacle - completely different circumstance.

No in the sense that you're too pussy to move a game to get it in instead of getting trounced like last weekend. The lot of you are baby back bitches.

guess LSU shouldn't have played last weekend with 15-20 players from SW La and east Texas

Yeah when a hurricane path that from the tip of Florida and makes it all the way to East, TN albeit in a much weakened state it's bad. The times I can recall were Andrew and Ivan which both were huge storms. I really hope that Floridians evacuate and/or find safe spaces to shelter through this. Irma looks as bad as advertised.

Hope your brother and inlaws stay safe but I hope even more this thing takes a bizarre turn and goes out to sea where it dissipates.
