I seem to remember at least playing in the postseason. That ship still appears to be sinking tho.

If this isn't a jinx thread, I don't know what is.

Arkansas probably loses today and first game in the NCAA tourney. Your fans will thank you later.

I bet Billy has a losing record to Arky.

UF is just in a down year and still is a serviceable basketball team. Things just didn't go their way this season but they will be back. There have been waaay worse "collapses" in recent years. See AU football 2012 among others.

If a down year is a losing record, it hasn't happened to Mike Anderson yet.

Florida has also played a much harder non conference schedule the past four years than Arkansas has.

This year alone Arkansas played Wake Forest, Iowa State, Clemson, and I'll give you SMU since they are currently ranked.

Florida played UNC, Kansas, Miami, Florida State, Wake Forest, Georgetown, and defending champion UCONN.

It wasn't that long ago that Billy went to 2 straight NITs after the back-to-back titles. All he did was reel off 4 straight elite 8s and a final 4 appearance after that.

Thinking about putting $500 on Hogs -6.5 tonight.

Should be an easy bet.

You would think so, but if you lose, you're gonna miss a trailer payment and have to witness what I do to your entire shitty fanbase on this board later tonight.

16-17 won't make the NIT cut.

FWIW, this season could have been very different if only a few more of the close games went our way.

2 point buzzer beater loss to Miami
1 point loss to Georgetown in OT
2 point loss to FSU on buzzer beater tipped in by UF player
4 point loss to UConn
1 point loss to Ole Miss, followed by a another 1 point buzzer beater loss to same team a couple weeks later
1 point loss to A&M

Plus a few of closes losses to Kansas, Kentucky, LSU and Vandy. It was a weird year of injury, suspensions, and just some bad luck.

There is a decent chance we make it in even below .500 because of our schedule.
