UF may be ranked higher than I would put them but they haven't proved anything that says they shouldn't be. What's a joke is people investing so much stock into BCS standings at this point in the season

Then someone should man up and prove it's wrong. Florida's defense is LSU'esque, and I love the way Pease is mixing up the offense.

No....no you wouldn't, because you wouldn't get the only thing that would help you, and that's home field. They manhandled you guys and beat you the fuc% down physically. That's an asswhoopin' nobody should want again.

No one has a better resume'. UF is light years ahead of where I thought they'd be by this point.

I think this sentiment is shared by a lot of Gator fans.

I agree, I would have never thought.

Anything we get from here on out is icing, and gravy.

For those who missed it today... Not counting the number of other Radio shows that bashed UF.

I don't care what people think of the underpinnings (I think Florida is hollow, talent-wise, too) - half the season is past and Florida has earned the #2 spot, on the field, where the alleged talent/coaching/development is supposed to be displayed. Winning games in this conference is not guaranteed to any team.

THAT is why I rail against early season polls, because of the inherent bias. Team A and Team B look similar on paper. Team A has an easier schedule (and, just to throw in my other pet peeve, is a 'media darling), than Team B, so predictively, the human polls rank Team A higher than Team B. So, if both teams win, the humans keep A higher than B, reflexively, because it is tough to drop a team when they win (other than LSU - the do that all the time). Team B defeats the harder schedule but remains ranked lower because of that initial bias that is never corrected.

Thank G-d for computers because they have restored some balance in all of this.

I hope we get the Gators in Atlanta.

Optimistic Gator fans were hoping for an 8 win season, which could still end up being the case, but we didn't expect to be undefeated at this point.

This team has improved dramatically (Captain Obvious) from last year and although I have my doubts as to their ability as a National Championship contender this year, next year they will be a team to be reckoned with. This is still a very young team across the board and Muschamp is bringing in players that fit his scheme.

I read all these posts and not one "fire Muschamp". Florida must be doing something right cause last year and early this year a lot of you were saying he would be gone shortly. Quite a few fans stil saying "fire him" but they are talkng about their own coach now. I agree, the polls are silly, but before it is over the road to the top will sort itself out.

Nope, no room for talking.

I can see you guys loosing to South Carolina, Georgia, and probably Florida State. Aside from beating Texas A&M and an LSU team with an abnormally anemic offense, you don't really have enough quality wins to justify your number 2 spot.

I think Florida's defense had something to do with LSU's "anemic" offense.
Plus, it's funny how this same "anemic" offense gained over 400 yards, including 258 rushing - on a supposedly stout South Carolina defense. And did it with a makeshift offensive line with 2 true freshmen!
