Like when this happened?

Yes. Well, exactly like that but UGA didn't finish with a losing record and kick a last minute field goal to avoid a shutout. Also, won the East that season.

So, exactly like that, except for where it wasn't like that.

Go look at your own posters’ expectations on your board. A losing season was not on the list.

This could be said for fans of any team. He'll, Aggy was expected to win it all and they royally shite the bed.

He is the one who suggested that this losing season was expected. Not me.

UF has 14 losses the last two seasons. Kirby has 15 losses his entire career as a head coach.

Since the shoe throw:
1-7 vs ranked teams
5-13 in SEC play
12-17 overall
Fired their head coach
Back to back losing seasons

That play really broke their spirit

Year 1 of a new coaching staff? What were we expected to do, go 12-0?

I love this new college football world we live in where the University of Florida isn’t disappointed by a losing season in any circumstance.

8-5 and that includes two last second losses.Could have easily won 10 and that was with one of the worst senior classes in UGA modern history (zero drafted)

UF is being bent over by Miami on the recruiting trail right. All their top choices are headed to south Florida.

Either way I wanted Mullen out. I wasn’t sold in Napier being the chosen one. Sucks we will be rebuilding for a while but I hated hiring Mullen to begin with. He won 21 games his first 2 seasons but no one realized that was his ceiling and not what he was building on.

In my lifetime, the Georgia football program has never been as bad as the Florida football program is right now.

And I’m including the Ray Goff years.

It’s a great time to be alive.

Florida fired Mullen because he could never crack the top ten in recruiting which should be the bare minimum for a program like Florida.

Now they have Billy.

Not only can he not coach, he can't recruit either!

One step forward and two steps back for Florida Man.

Pitiful.

And now, Florida's 5* QB recruit, an early enrollee who never actually set foot on campus after signing day, is requesting to be released from his LOI over what is speculated to be an issue over money.

I knew this NIL shite would blow up in someone's face eventually, I didn't think it would be Florida.

What a disgrace.

REaction quote from GaryGator:

I heard some of the story today. It's utterly ridiculous.

* Apparently someone actually promised this kid a shitload of money. No idea how much, or who, but 13 million is the rumor.
* So Monday, the A.D., the Gator collective, UAA, and others had a meeting . To make sure everyone is on the same page. WTF?
* Shouldn't they have already had that meeting, oh I don't know at least a year ago?
* Someone, (Scott Stricklin) should be shite canned immediately. How have they went this long without getting on the "same page" In regards to this N.I.L. shite?
It's inexcusable.

Florida has had back to back 6-7 seasons.

2021- 6-7
2022- 6-7

If the SEC East is so piss poor and pathetic, how can this be?
