Well that settles it. And I'm sure they did nothing to instigate it.

Oh they did something to instigate it. Their team won, handily, at Tiger Stadium

Pathetic that you're in such denial. Hell, the "what were your experiences with Wisconsin fans" thread turned into everyone's stories about drunk trashy LSU fans fighting other drunk trashy LSU fans. Was that part of the Daily Reveille's conspiracy too?

You're the only one here acting like this is commonplace. Are we sure who is in denial?

Which is totally the same as an exaggerated "news" story by the Reveille that has been all but completely debunked.

Look, I will defend BR/TS to anyone, great place, but to act like there aren't douchebags that will start shite with visiting fans is naive at best. It happens at every school. Fortunately, it's a small minority that do it, but it happens.

I'm saying it doesn't happen with any frequency, which everyone but REG should agree with.

Nope. Sorry dude, Lunchbox 'debunked' that for us. Tiger Stadium is the epitome of class, respectful fans, and sobriety. No one there has ever been accosted or cursed at.

You're right, it's even worse and more embarrassing.

For the record, I am an LSU fan but despise a small percentage of the fans.

You said I was in denial for saying it happens with the kind of frequency in the "story."

Sorry facts bother you so much.

I wasn't spit on but I was spit at from people above me while walking down the spirals at South Carolina after a game. Had some drunk redneck and his two sons giving me the middle finger and tried to purposely spit on me but they missed. Had a great time afterward at some bar and everybody was nice. Tailgated with one of the coach's families there and they were all great too. But there are definitely people who get spit on.

You're one of these pretentious a-hole fans that likes to badmouth his own fan base and act like you're above all the plebeians. You're the absolute worst kind of fan in existence.

Agreed. Either I'm too old to give a shite, or the flagrant shite stirring has declined at LSU in the last 10 years. I don't know the street, but it kind of leads up to the visitor's gate at TS (you go by some rockets) used to be pretty brutal. Occasionally shite thrown at you, and the usual tiger baiting but that seems to not be the case anymore.

I'm above trash that calls young girls counts, yes. Oh wait, I forgot- they instigated it

You obviously missed what the story was about. It was LSU student paper reporters going into the tailgate crowd dressed as gumps and reporting on the behavior towards them.

Reveille writer? That makes it even less credible

I was talking to some cute, harmless Miss St. girls who said they were called counts after the game.

Well, were they counts?? They were hanging with you...nevermind.

no, it didn't. "Handily" may have been a strong adjective given the final score, but MSU owned most of the game.

Hahaha...you count. But seriously, your azzhole is puckered too tightly...loosen up. It's not out of the realm of possibility for some chicks to be called counts and I would never stick up for that (well, at least I think), but I've never heard anyone call a chick a count at any home or away game (our fans or the other teams' fans). And I have been in some seriously hostile environments. I'm just saying that would be a rare event and not common at all.

I agree. I'm not against good shite talking. Opponents should always be a little uneasy in Tiger Stadium. But it's not ridiculous to point out that there are always a handful of dumbass drunk fans who take things too far. No big deal but also no point in trying to deny it. Let's move on.
