How Brian Wallace wasn't a 5 star I'll never know.. oh yeah, because he picked Arkansas over Bama so he didn't get the late bump to 5*.
247 only gave one OT 5 stars last year - they have 4 this year already
Every team always says this about 1 or 2 of their players. Wallace wasnt even close to a 5-star though. He was 90 in the composite.

10 for Florida, and yet some people on other Florida boards would tell you the Will Muschamp is doing an awesome considering he inherited very little talent.
What a freaking joke.

He was one point away on 247's rankings
97 grade #2 OT overall

As were man other players "1 point away" including the 4 or 5 guys in front of him that were not 5-stars either.
But those guys were higher than 90 in the composite.

Chris Jones is the only one I can think of for state. :(
He could very well end up being the best out of everyone in this thread. Can't wait to find out.

Well the criteria being used here is the 247 composite OR 247's own rankings. I'm not really sure why you're arguing here. 247 felt that he was the #2 OT and close to a 5*.

Shannon Terry loves this. The stars are based on who Saban wants. LSU commits that blow up at camps drop in ratings
Saban is either really good at finding talent and terrible at developing players or is great at finding overrated players.

Yet the other services clearly didnt see him being nearly that good.
Alabama had 2 4-stars ranked higher in their own rankings FWIW (to the complaint that "if he committed to Bama over Arky he would be a 5-star).

Yeah right, I know. It's not like Bama has had a very good record while he's been coaching and recruiting all these over rated 5* bust.
What, Bama is 61-7 (12.2 & 1.4 average) with 3 BCSNC's over the past 5 years. Too bad for Bama fans that Saban can't develop his players or they're just overrated.

Trovon Reed. 5 Star. I saw the guy play several times in high school. He was waaaaayyyy overrated.

He sat out last year with injury. He's a 6th year Sr.
Maybe the first 5 star 6th year sr

I just mean in general. He was sending an RB to the NFL yearly at Wisconsin, but if he does it in the SEC, he'll really get recruits' attention. Hogs in the trenches will look at them too.

He has a fighting chance if an Arkansas HS kid is a 5 star and is a Momma's boy.
Otherwise, LSU or Bama will take them. Maybe A&M or Mizzou depending on where in the state.
Arkansas isn't Oklahoma. They can't have the Texas border shut down like it is and do well. Oklahoma will recruit nationally. Arkansas is screwed in the short term.
