The least intriguing (but still worth watching) would be Mizzou vs. Vandy.
Mizzou couldn't have asked for a better start. Some were saying Vandy's goal should be 6 wins and a bowl. That's not gonna happen for Vandy.
This is the kind of game that Mizzou finds a way to lose. See Auburn last year for example. A game where Mizzou was the better team but snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
I expect the Tigers to win. But probably not a cake walk.

Georgia @ Auburn- We've had some on here talking upset. I just don't see it. Georgia struggles with NFL type QBs throwing to NFL type WRs. SC had that two weeks ago. Line couldn't hold up for them to continue scoring. Auburn has nothing like that. Will Georgia have offensive lapses like we've seen earlier? Maybe. But it won't matter.

Alabama at Miss. State- First road game for Bama in conference play. Miss. State gave SC a game last week, but was completely outmatched vs. LSU at home. I kind of think we'll see more of the LSU version here. Maybe not quite as bad, but this one hasn't seen a close game since 2017 and hasn't seen an MSU win since Saban's first year in Tuscaloosa.

A&M vs. Arkansas- Arkansas needs a win here in the worst way. If A&M loses the Aggies will be in meltdown mode again. A&M has their backup in, but probably one of the best backups in the conference with a ton of experience in tough environments. KJ could definitely pull off an upset here, but I'm gonna go with A&M and Maximus Johnsonus.

Florida vs. Kentucky- Whose QB will turn the ball over the least probably decides the game. Crowd will make it more difficult on Mertz. Gonna go with the Cats here. This is Kentucky, so Florida fans will lose it of course despite the fact that Stoops has pretty much made them equals the past few seasons.

SC at UTK- South Carolina is not a good defensive team. Tennessee is not a good defensive team. South Carolina may have the best QB in the conference. Tennessee does not have the best QB in the conference. Tennessee is at home. I think SC will get up early in this game just like last year. But unlike last year, think Tennessee gets back in it in the second half and pulls it out. Hope I'm wrong.

The grandaddy of them all for this week. LSU vs. Ole Miss

I think Ole Miss will play better this week. Will it be enough? Fanbases will be upset with their coach if they lose this one, no matter which side gets the L. Lane because "he can't win a big one". BK because "he's good, but not great just like at ND". Think this will be close throughout. Back and forth, but give me the Tigers in the end.

I’m very confused on why people think Auburn/Georgia will be close. Auburn probably has the worst QBs in D1 football. They probably won’t score

Well, I understand. People want to see us lose and any chink in the armor is seen as a colossal weakness.

I’ve been worried about this one all year. On paper, it’s a blowout. But games are played in real life, and that’s where intangibles come in. We’ve won 9 of the last 10 in the rivalry (Bama has only won 7 of the last 10 against Auburn), and that fanbase and team want a win in the worst way. Jordan-Hare will be pumped up for the game, and the last quarter will be played at night. UGA has a lot of injuries, and it’s Carson Beck’s first road game as a starting QB. The old Jordan-Hare voodoo and “home cooking” refs can never be discounted. Usually, Auburn has a lot of players from Georgia who really go all out for this game. And Freeze would love a “statement” game, and what better than to beat a hated rival when they’re #1? I think we win this, but the first half should be crazy. As always. :)

Seriously? On the field it's a 20+ point win

And the sun sets around 6:30. You'll be just fine

Auburn might score 10 pts… maybe. Their QB play is terrible. Defense is decent, but not Auburn of old. They will be back in a couple of years. Take GA big on this one.

A&M & the Hogs are intriguing. It all depends on which KJ shows up. He has moments when he can take over a game and he also has moments of WTF. ARK oline is pretty damn good. If they can neutralize Aggie’s dline this game will be really good.

LSU / Ole Miss bet the over. LSU’s secondary is hard to watch. If we don’t get pressure on Dart with the front 4, it will be like ARK game all over again. Not sure OM will be able to stop our offense. The game is in Oxford so things can get weird quick.

Can’t believe we are already at the 5th game of the season. Should be a good weekend!

You and I must have a different definition of intriguing.

I will say this if we are getting Bilbo Aggins 2022 redux then this week marks the start of the 0-6 electric loss boogaloo. Obviously the SCar & State games will be tough even for them to lose but you never know....

If we beat Florida people will start paying attention just in time for us to run into the Georgia buzz saw next week. Oh goodie.

You always play us tough it seems. Usually a close game and we pull away in the late third, early fourth.

You'll understand in a year. Right now, you still think of your conference lowers as the same. They are not. And hell, y'all can't even beat them consistently. When have you last won a conference?

Yes but it will be the first time since 1949-51 that you will have beaten Florida three seasons in a row. Baby steps...
