But I thought LSU didn't have any good players and all you needed was Coach O to come in and sign some studs?
This board should be renamed Strawman Rant.
Just saying...

someone answer my friggin question, before I start a new thread and ask Arkansas and Texas A&M fans for their thoughts. I am quite sure they will be more than willing to opine...why does LSU have the problem with underclassmen leaving early, but bama doesn't?

2008: LSU had a 17-7 lead and was driving before Lee threw an INT.
Lee also forced an INT in OT in the NEZ with a chance to give LSU the lead.
2012: One more first down by LSU and we kneel down 3 times in victory formation. Instead, Miles played it ultra-conservative, just assuming Alleman would make the FG. But he missed. Then Chavis played swiss cheese defense after allowing 40 yards total offense and 1 first down to that point in the second half.
Miles also had a chance to put the game away earlier on the 4th and 1 when he sent Ware in for the Wildcat which the whole Milky Way Galaxy could see coming.
Another big play to the Bama 10 was wiped out by a stupid penalty.
2014:
We pick up Yeldon's fumble at the Bama 4 instead of falling on it, it's 17-10.
The officials called a penalty on Alexander for pulling a Bama player who was holding down an LSU player in the pile. Our subsequent 1st and goal was pushed back to the 22.
Miles does not challenge Cooper's trapped catch on the last drive in regulation (even the announcers were perplexed, as the ball was moving.) Saban had Bama """"""RAAAAAACE"""""" up to the line and snap the ball BEFORE Miles had a chance to throw the challenge flag.
Then, in LSU's red zone, Bama also gets an unsportsmanlike penalty that pushes the ball back, but instead of 1st and goal at the 23, it's first and """"""""" T E N """"""""""
Why ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

this is a legitimate question, and one I look forward to hearing the answer to...EDITED: ~middle finger in the air~

Another LSU thread? I can't handle the swamp kittens obsession with that program.

LSU losing 5-10 juniors per year was the only thing keeping Bama ahead of LSU. Your fear is palpable.
When have you lost 10 and how many of those 10 were really impact loses?
Also, you act like Bama never loses players to the NFL early.
2014 - 4 early departures
2013 - 4 early departures
2012 - 4 early departures
2011 - 3 early departures
It happens. Almost all of Bama's early departures are massive losses (think Julio Jones, Marcel Dareus, etc).

Brockers, Patrick Peterson, morris Claiborne, ego Ferguson, Sam Montgomery, barkevious mingo, kevin minter, Eric reid, Ruben randle, Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry, Spencer ware, Jeremy hill, trai turner.
No one of note really.
Tharold Simon, while maybe not a big of a loss as the others just had a monster game to help his team to the NFC championship.

... sooooo you're saying you guys should be good next year? What happens after another 3-5 loss season?
Remind me what Alabama's record was after they lost 13 underclassmen of whom 11 of were selected in the first 3 rounds,.....to the NFL in a 2-year span.
Can you spell UNPRECEDENTED Gump?
