Look, I love Miles and what he has done at LSU. The bottom line is winning and his SEC record has went from 8-0(11'), 6-2(12'), 5-3(13'), 4-4(14') and 4-2 so far this year. That won't cut it. These next two games will tell a lot as far as Miles's future at LSU.
So go ahead and say LSU fans are stupid but that record at any of the other top tier program in the SEC would be doing the same. So don't come here and try to sterotype only LSU fans. Like I said this might fly at schools not named LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, get my drift?
If we stumble the next two game Miles is in serious trouble. Fact!

Nebraska is just one example. Look what Texas, Miami, USCw, Florida, Penn St, etc, have all been like with their coaching carousels.
We've been there. Maybe we are past it. Bama was there for how many years. Unfortunately there isn't a Saban ready to leave the NFL out there.

If I was a LSU fan I would want Miles fired. It is hard to believe with the talent they have on offense that they can't get a decent QB. Just a decent game manager would make a huge difference. If he doesn't get fired or get a pro style QB then they need to Change the offense to fit the dual great QBs they get.

The problem with tenure is it keeps getting extended year after year.

Consistent 9-4ish seasons?
Well, this guy is a Nebraska fan so he would know 9-4 when he sees one. Like Frank Solich and Bo Pellini. But that's a very good season for them. Ten wins is a great situation for Nebraska. And with the college playoff most likely to expand to 8 teams, you could see a ten win & 2 loss team get in there. Like LSU or Nebraska. Of course Bama would be the first team to get in with two losses in the new CFP.

So if Les doesn't frick up the four year cycle, he'd be 'aight?

He's just as bad as muschamp when it comes to making the right hire and giving up control
Hell he even botched the defensive coordinator hire with steel and ed o
It might really be a good time to part ways

That would be fantastic. les has shown no interest whatsoever in relinquishing control of the offense though.
That's when a good AD comes in and offers and ultimatum.

Exactly, great point. I'm beginning to believe that the REC is doing work through the Finebaum show.
He'll attack and browbeat callers that speak with a voice of change with his patented " who could you hire that's better" shtick .
REC hoping other SEC teams have low self esteem, and guys like Richt and Miles hang around forever.

For the LSU fans complaining about having wanted changes for x number of years, posting about it on message boards isn't going to lead to the change.
Any of your boosters have some balls to speak with the AD to put an ultimatum on the table to force change? Most head coaches are stuck in their way and need to be forced to make changes before they will do it.
