I learned some really distrubing things about Gus this weekend from a coaching clinic

Do tell, you can't just leave us hanging like that.

Neiko started every game and played in 75%, if not more, of every minute in every game.

Which means he was much better than anyone behind him.

Not necessarily. He will be replaced by Florence who was a TFr. last year. I mean bama started Chris Capps. Surely they had someone better.

Distrubing might not be the best word usage.

Just that he is not the genius we all make him out to be. Not saying he is a bad coach by any means, but some of the things seem odd. We all know that his O is based on HUNH. But I did not realize the extent of this. His O is really simple. He has 6 pass plays and 4 run plays per game plan along with 2 trick plays; that is it. Then there are alot of automatics built into the O for certain situations, like 2nd and 10. All of his pass plays are floods to the boundary. The deep and short routes are simply decoys to open space for the middle pass route.

Plus he said that he was not even sure Cam understood the O until about week 4 last season. That was what I found most shocking.

Cam and all those Seniors made Malzahn look like a genius. That, and he brought a different philosophy to the SEC. By year 3, teams had adjusted to it, ala, Spurrier.

I'm not saying Arkansas goes undefeated but LSU is about 3rd or 4th on the list of games that scare me. Bama and SCe are going to be way larger threats. Miles will never beat Petrino in Arkansas. Never!

LSU will run over that team. Ball control will kill Arky.
but your DC might make a difference. LSU will be very difficult on D again this year and more physivcal at the point of attack.
