I'm putting $2,500 down on the Tigers. I have a good feeling about this one

If both teams play exactly opposite of the way they've been playing all year then yes, Auburn has a chance. If both teams play pretty much like they have all year, then LSU will win by at least 17 points

My hate for Bama waaaaaaay exceeds my dislike of Auburn. It's a shame too. I have nothing against the program. I just live in Alabama, and the Bama fans make it impossible to not hate their guts.
And i really don't care what my fellow LSU fans think. Have you been on the Tiger Rant?

I think the AU offense will put together some pretty good mis-direction plays that will kind of throw LSU off a bit. Then, they will try their best to deploy the same type of scheme that WVU used, in hopes of
a.) sustaining long drives & controlling the clock
b.) moving the ball successfully against LSU's defense
c.) getting the ball out of Moseley's hands as quick as possible
However, if AU can have any success at this, that will make them a bit more dangerous b/c of the threat them running the ball. The LSU d-line will have to get pressure on AU similar to what they did against Oregon.
I also don't think we will blitz that much. In all of the games we have played against spread offenses, we did not do alot of blitzing. So, I expect AU to be in 4 & 5 receiver sets for most of the game.
Should be a good one though!

I think our offense is going to have a break out game and really surprise LSU. I expect big games from Dyer, Moseley and McCalleb. The defense will play better than expected and this game will come down to special teams.
Agreed Tigers by 17 Auburn Tigers of course.

I would feel pretty confident about this one if I were an LSU fan even given the recent circumstances...with it being at home and all. LSU IS the better, deeper, more talented team. They have been consistently good all year. While Auburn has been improving, they have been pretty inconsistent. Those Auburn fans happy about the fact that this is a day game seriously underestimate a coonass's ability to get hammered drunk by 2pm.
Having said that, there is no doubt that LSU took a big hit on both sides of the ball with the suspensions and this also has to be a distraction. The psychological momentum is in Auburn's favor. If Auburn comes out strong and completes a few passes downfield, backing off the safeties, Auburn has a chance...albeit a pretty small chance.
btw, any idiot that bet on LSU to cover that spread is going to be very unhappy.

I think some believe it gets the point across better.
Then again its probably because LSU fans tend to be very obnoxious at times

My final thought is that the Au posters in this thread are doing their best to rationalize an AU victory, but none of you really believe it.... so you haven't gone fully delusional, yet.
Mosely isn't a secret weapon that Chizic has held out to save for the LSU game, he's a fricking back-up QB. It is a desperation move by AU, nothing more. If this isn't true, you should all be questioning the talent evaluation of the coaching staff at AU.
LSU- 28
Plainmen-10

I see the game going like this...
Auburn starts out hot with several trick plays (or 1 really good one) to score a touchdown. Possible onside kick next and AU scores again. Uh oh, LSU is down 14-0. No worries, LSU settles down, scores 42 unanswered points as Dyer once again mysteriously disappears for the 2nd and 3rd qtr. while Malzahn continues to use trick plays throughout the game at terrible times that only do a good job of killing drives. Moseley is hit repeatedly in the 3rd qtr. and is back on the bench with 10 min. left in the 4th. The LSU players rush the field as Jarret Lee kneels for the final down. They make their way over to the Auburn sideline, steal the stash of cigars the AU players have ready and smoke them right on the 50 yard line.
