Basketball sage WildcatMike misses a team. There are 14 teams in the SEC this year buddy. Strange he left his team out.

Don’t know how net ranking works but why is South Carolina so low? They’re literally ranked in the top 25 last I check

I am not sure what you are talking about. But I am glad to see you corrected your original post.

USC is getting punished for playing a terrible OOC schedule. But, they will be dancing.

Typical A&M play up to our competition but also down.
I still think we deserve to be in tournament.
Some notable wins:
1) Iowa St
2) Kentucky
3) Tennessee (blowout)

I will keep asking the question…. Why is Vandy allowed to stay in the SEC and collect 70+ million a year? Not only do they contribute nothing to the only two sports producing this revenue, they are a net negative on the revenue. They take a full share plus the networks offer less total money because they have to show a Bama Vandy game that could have been a Bama/UF game etc if the conference had less teams that played each other more often. Thats 8 conference football games a year which drag down another member’s schedule. 4 teams are having to host them every year.

My guess at likely seeding ranges, best case / worst case:
Tennessee: 1-seed / 2-seed
Kentucky: 2-seed / 4-seed
Alabama: 3-seed / 5-seed
Auburn: 4-seed / 5-seed
S Carolina: 4-seed / 6-seed
Florida: 5-seed / 7-seed
Miss St: 10-seed / Out
Texas A&M: 11-seed / Out
Tennessee: 1-seed / 2-seed
Kentucky: 2-seed / 4-seed
Alabama: 3-seed / 5-seed
Auburn: 4-seed / 5-seed
S Carolina: 4-seed / 6-seed
Florida: 5-seed / 7-seed
Miss St: 10-seed / Out
Texas A&M: 11-seed / Out

USC is a top 15 team.
NET doesn’t make sense when Vandy beat Mizzou and won four conference games.
It overvalues games in December when teams evolve significantly. It overvalues losing to good teams but undervalues wins. LSU has four Q1 wins but that is undervalued.

At this point, no, they're not. They're being punished for not being a brand name. They beat UF last week, and stood pat, while UF ROSE in the NET. They beat State yesterday, on the road, and FELL in the NET while State rose. USC actually fell in the NET over the duration of conference play. They had a higher NET ranking after non-con, than they had after going 13-5 in the league. It's a beauty contest, and it's difficult to defend as a USC fan.
