The ironic thing is, this game has more significance for the LSU program than it does MSU. A few years from now, we'll look back and see that it symbolized the end of a golden era of LSU football. During that golden era, LSU's enjoyed some magical seasons and their dominance of MSU was real. But, all things eventually come to an end. Like sands through the hourglass....

It is just a shame MSU never was really any good to have a golden era.

JayDeer, at least you guys have a good shot at 3rd or 4th place in the SEC in BBall next year. Should take some of the sting off the upcoming football season.

I bet he would have taken it too (last year), I would. Doesn't change the fact it would be below avg for him, just like our team last yr was below our avg as well.
