Aren’t there 8 teams in the CWS?
So final four would by definition mean you got farther

Also, is the answer to this, Tennessee wouldn't know?
Do you have a hard on for the Vols today?

Final Four and it’s not even up for debate. Baseball is second fiddle to college hoops.
The only people that care more about baseball are the fans of teams that are baseball schools.

We PROBALLY be neither but would be nice

To be honest I enjoyed our Final Four run two years ago more than our National Championships in baseball. It just felt like a much bigger deal from a national standpoint.

Well, considering you randomly brought up the Vols, who are not a rival of yours, it sure seems like it.

The Final Four.....we're going to go to multiple CWS anyways. And if your baseball team makes the CWS, they get at the minimum two games. The Final Four only gets you one chance.
With how our MBB program has struggled over the decades, if the question was "NCAAT or CWS", I'd probably still say the NCAAT, because that would mean so much more for our MBB program than the CWS would mean to our BB program these days....

Oh. You’re just jelly. That’s understandable.

Easier to get to CWS. Now, final 2 of CWS just may be equivalent to final four.

Final Four or CWS appearance?
Both start with 64 teams (well, 64+4 for basketball, but still).
Basketball is a single elimination tournament, baseball a double elimination tournament.
Number of teams: 8 in CWS, 4 in Final Four.
Even taking revenue, etc out of the equation - the Final Four seems like the more prestigious accomplishment.

The final four in basketball is better than the final 4 in the the CWS
Just making the CWS means you're the final 8.

I'd rather have a sweet 16 appearance than win the CWS.

I gotta go with the final 4. The build up is so much more exciting. March Madness is just a ton of fun on it's own.
