I don't think we did enough this season to deserve a ranking.

You had a better record than Florida and won your bowl game against a Power 5 team.

Hard to justify Georgia being ranked over Florida, as bad as Florida is. A Treon led UF did beat the shite out of them.

Totally agree about state though.

Man that's really got to sting to know Ole Miss is a better team than Alabama. Sorta ruins your national championship.

Not really.. But as long as that thought makes for better foreplay between you and sister and gives you something to talk about during your klan rallies then so be it..

Iowa at 9?

State and Georgia should also be ranked.

I won't deny that UGA finished the season stronger than Florida did. Losing soundly to UF isn't why I disagree with UGA being ranked - Ole Miss lost just as badly if not worse.

It's that UGA didn't have a signature victory this year and had a number of close wins against bad (Mizzou, GT) or average teams (Auburn, GSU, Penn St, etc.)

People can laugh if they like, but this makes our first top 10 finish since 1969, which is a pretty big deal for us.

I can't believe we list to fricking Memphis

more or less painful then Arkansas - 50% troll 50% curious.

I know scoreboard

Memphis was far more painful. We just didn't show.

Speaking of Arkansas, I guess 4&25 and the biggest shite talking fan base in college football doesn't help you with a top 25 finish

So I am guessing the voting at the end of the season is no way how they vote during the season? Because with State, Oklahoma and Iowa as examples getting their dicks kicked in and finishing where they did They would have tumbled in the polls during the season.

This makes 8 straight years that Bama has been ranked #1 at some point in the AP poll. That is a record

SEC dominated the bowls going 9-2 including the Natty. Every team from the SEC with a winning record should be ranked. What would the records of the Northwesterns of the world be in SEC play?

The AP top 25 is a joke. I wouldn't be mad about Notre Dame or Michigan being ahead of us, but Iowa is a joke. Did they beat anyone ranked in the top 25? There is no way Georgia should not be in the top 25 when their 3 losses were to #1, #22, and #25. Both Georgia and Miss State should be in there over WKU, Northwestern, and Wisconsin.

While UGA was not a very good team, I was disappointed that Western Kentucky was ranked ahead of us.

I felt the same way initially, but it was pointed out that Northwestern beat three ranked teams, so it is hard to argue that we were better. Western Kentucky, on the other hand.....

We really were not very good...especially after Chubb went down. However, I could argue we were better than WKU and at least as good as Wisconsin, and maybe even Northwestern.

Even if you don't think we should be ranked above Florida(which we should), we DEFINITELY deserve to be ranked ahead of Northwestern, and WKU.

Years and years of other conference whining about the SEC being overrated in the polls yet here we sit today with a 9-4 PAC-12 team that lost it's bowl game ranked #19 and a 10-3 SEC team that won it's bowl game is unranked. This after the SEC went a collective 9-2 in the bowls?

Sure you do. But I didn't say anything about NW and WKU, what does that have to do with the price of a MonsterCock.com membership in Georgia?

Since the entire thread is about rankings in general,I think it reasonable for his post to be made, don't you?
And the rankings SHOULD reflect on how a team is at this point in the season. We are PROBABLY a better team than Florida right now. (Not too sure about that, but he and some others feel that way)

I wouldn't have a problem with Georgia being ranked. FTR.

I personally think UF has no business even receiving votes, let alone being being ranked.
