auburn vs Michigan State is a game i'd like to see. The poop bowl, msu might have a claim for the #2 spot with only 1 loss. It would be nice clash of D vs the auburn O

Since we're throwing logic out the window.

Since we're doing that, I still say USCe, throughout the entire year, was the best team in the conference and the 2nd best team in the country. Spurrier has it rolling up there.

But they lost to UT. Miserable.

Would be hard to argue with if this were the case.

Quite possibly. I'd argue you may have been.

You were expecting a different answer weren't you?

Congrats! You're finally relevant. I'm glad. It makes the games so much more fun.

Speaking of relevant, I can't seem to find where UGA is ranked. Can you help a brotha out?

Wherever they are, it's probably higher than they really should be

You know why that happened ... because Spurrier talked too much about his record in Knoxville and about his childhood in Neyland before our game this past season. Gave his kids too much of a feeling of invincibility ... and at the same time motivated UT.

Plus that was just a miracle throw and catch at the end of the game for UT, but cudos to them.

OU needed sveral prayers answered to beat OKlite. Mizzou handled OKlite despite Franklin doing everything he could to give you the game, so OU wound up exactly where they should have.

Fixed that for you.

I assume you watched the Cotton Bowl. I would say it was a fair assessment that neither Mizzou NOR OSU brought their "A" game.

We were a way better team at that point of the season, plus everyone was pumped up after how well the team played against Georgia. But then Worley got injured versus Alabama and things all went to shite.

Tennessee at the end of the season was hardly the same team that beat South Carolina. We peaked around the UGA game.

Not to mention that UT WR had to make an insane grab to put UT in field goal range in the first place.

Yeah. That game and the UGA game were clearly the best games we played all year. It was downhill after that.

And this is what makes the BCS bowl system a joke....especially the BCS Bowl that "the first team from SC to win a BCS Bowl" played in:

USC beat 5 teams that finished in the top 25 rankings. 3 of them in the top 10. Clemson only beat 1 single solitary top-25 ranked opponent, all year. And it was 12th-ranked Ohio State. Beat ZERO teams that finished in the top 10.

And Ohio State only beat 1 single solitary top-25 ranked opponent, all year (Wisconsin). Beat ZERO teams that finished in the top 10. And they both were BCS bowl-caliber teams? A joke....
