Unfortunately we have too many emotional LSU posters on this site that blame the loss exclusively on the referees. LSU gave up a 4 & 18, let A&M score with one second, muffed punt and gave up too many passing plays. LSU shot itself in the foot time and time again and our elite secondary did not show up.

On the same token, if the same calls (or no calls) that did not favor LSU would have been called for A&M, would you not have been upset also?

How would A&M fans feel if the game was in Baton Rouge and the uniforms were flipped on the image below?

To many more great games, you won this time, I hope we crush next year

Are you asking for a slap on the butt?

Because I can do that.

Why would someone be upset about them getting most of the calls correct?

What's with the arse slap? I didn't see that before.

Give me some context. I would love to have something to bitch about.

For some reason, I don't think Aggy controls, or ever will control, Birmingham.

Also, this is why, even if we were given a favorable call, I'd give 0 fricks about it.

LSU clearly has no idea what kind of shite we dealt with in the past.

It did happen to us on Saturday.
It’s also happened to us in previous LSU games.
It’s never fun.
But that’s sports—controversial calls will always be a factor.
The only reason this one feels especially lousy is bc of the crazy number of OTs; it was an emotional game.

Your team played a great game.

LMAO.

You didn't know pain and suffering till you were already a man.

We were born in it. Molded by it.

I would have been upset, but I hope I would have the integrity to admit, in hindsight, that the only contestable call was the fumble/incompletion. And I think the officials got that one right, too. I honest-to-God don't think we benefitted from a single bad call. We did benefited from the no-call on Williams when he moved early, as yall benefitted from the no-call on the PI on 3rd and 5 on the second to final drive of regulation.

Have you personally analyzed the film looking for LSU bum slaps? Are we sure this was the only bum slap given? I'll be looking forward to the official bum slap count.

No one is giving you a hard time for arguing being pissed about the PI and no review on the fumble. They were close, and I'd be pissed if the tables were turned. The people getting flamed are those blaming the loss solely on the refs, and those moving the goalposts after being proven wrong time and time again on a lot of the other calls. But as mentioned earlier, even if there was an egregious error, you can't expect us to show sympathy after the majority of your fan bases attitude towards the offsides in 2014.

Please also keep in mind you're on SEC Rant and will be made fun of even if you're 100% in the right if people think they will get a reaction.

You mean what if aTm saw one man get his arse touched by another man?

Pretty sure what they would feel was jealousy.

I don’t buy the fumble/incompletion.

If Sternberger caught it in the end zone and it was ruled a TD, LSU fans would have the opposite take. 15 years ago that was a fumble. In today’s game it’s an incompletion.

The refs are consistent in that regard. Look at that ole miss catch last week. Caught it, two feet down, fell onto his back, then had ball stripped...incomplete.

I don’t agree with the rules but that’s the rules these days, you have to maintain possession longer than in the past.

That’s also the same ref who called a controversial personal foul against A&Ms last game against Texas.

Also a picture of a party he attended wearing longhorn gear
