I think he was trying to get us with this as well. I'm pretty most of our fans acknowledge Baylor and TCU are better than us though at this point

I appreciate the attempt at a rebuttal, unfortunately it doens't make a lick of sense. It would've been much better had you altered the paramaters in yoru quote, like I did for the OP. To say that 2007 was UGA's best team ever, and were overshadowed by a team in the east, is simply illogical.
I'll help you out...try changing 'ever' to 'couple decades' (which is still debatable, our 02 team was stout) and 'same division' to 'same conference' and you have 2012 UGA. See how much better that is!
