We should have taken ATM in 1992 instead.

Because without us the SEC would've remained a backwater league with Jefferson Pilot's quality broadcasts being the only media outlet to cover the SEC providing that only a small swath of rednecks, retards, date rapists, and good ol' boys cared about the conference.

Landing a 30+ year strong national power like Arkansas sent shockwaves through the college football landscape that is still causing conferences to shift teams, footprints, and athletic focus to compete with what Arkansas brought to the SEC.

Lol delusion at its finest..

Adding Ark and SC was a monumental move. It helped launch the SEC into the juggernaut it is today because of the divisional format.

Arky would be winning Big 12 Championships (which no one would care about) if they weren't in the SEC and SC wouldn't have Spurrier.

How many championships did LSU win before Arkansas came to the SEC?

Maybe y'all just needed a rival to motivate your lazy asses.

Unfortunately in 1992 you would have had to take Texas as well.

Fortunately 21 years later (Arkansas and USCe joined in 1991) we got A&M without the conference-wrecking nuisance from Austin.

For what it's worth, in 1992 Oklahoma was every bit as shitty as Arkansas.
