Bama's helmets are the best because it is the only one with a purpose other than style. How often have you identified a Bama player by his helmet when his jersey was obscured?

Miss the old number font. I’m obviously biased but I love our helmets and don’t like when we tweak them. That helmet looks so nice under the lights.

Also like when our guys wear the purple socks. I’m sure we’ll see a lot of them doing it tomorrow in the cold at arky.

Any coincidence the team started playing better after wearing these? I think not! (Needs some old gold accents on it though, maybe the center stripe.)

It's not a gimmick if it's a version of the uniform that has been worn before. It's not an entirely new design. And if you call that a gimmick, then we already had that with the pro combat thing years back.
