Worst:
Tennessee-In the visitors section you're one wrong move away from a date with gravity.
Best:
Any stadium that doesn't "renovate" by going around the stadium and repainting seat numbers to add more capacity.
Best town imo would be Tuscaloosa or Oxford for the atmosphere (outside of Athens of course).
edit: Honorable mention for USC. Having a gaggle of sorority girls berate me as I left the stadium in 2012 was both cool and shitty.

Best: Vandy (Nashville should always win this catagory)
Worst: whoever your teams rival is.
Actual worst: I'll take the unbiased approach and still say Starkville. It's out of the way with nothing entertaining around it.

Tennessee is an awful stadium to sit in. It's entirely too cramped.

I was disappointed my one time at LSU was an 11am game and it was raining (2007).
Still had a blast but I would love to see a night game in the real Death Valley

I have been to 4 LSU-UTenn games in Knoxville. Worst stadium experience in the SEC hands down.
Nicest stadium but worst acting fans---Arkansas.
Most improved stadium exprience over my long SEC lifetime---State.
I really like going to Vanderbilt because of Nashville surroundings.
The only place I have seen LSU play football and will never return to is West Virginia.

Nashville's game atmosphere sucks but everything else about the town still trumps the others.

Worst: UGA Totally classless fans in the stadium. Relentless barking and mocking...especially when they scored the "winning" TD with 10 seconds to go

I agree with you on the stadium being a complete and utter shite hole, but I've always had a lot of fun in downtown Knoxville.
