Tiger stadium at night against a good team is the loudest I've heard, but they also have a lot more drunk degenerates than we do. A large portion of our older fans are actual alumni with high six and seven figure incomes who dont yell much. The average salary of the west side second deck is around 700k. Those people just arent gonna make much noise.

Tiger Stadium has acoustics that other stadiums just don't. it has a lot to do with the physics of the stadium that you can't just replicate by having more people

It's hands down the nicest facility but, it just doesn't have the atmosphere of a true SEC Stadium. It's just not that loud no matter how much you want to believe your trademark.

There isnt really anything acoustically significant about Tiger Stadium, other than a big arse enclosed bowl. You frickers just get hammered and yell louder.

If you want to see acoustically designed stadiums, go look at Autzen, Centurylink or Soldier Field. Weird looking venues designed (or redesigned) for optimal sound.

not sure why you're laughing. lsu is designed in a way that keeps the noise in the stadium. acoustics are a big part of why any stadium is louder than another. but if you want to go with the notion that it's just "drunk cajuns" or whatever, then by all means

it's steeper and made of concrete. sound gets trapped in Tiger Stadium more so than a steel erector set

You have to make quit a bit of coin to afford tickets on the first three decks of the new alumni side, not even talking about the suites and boxes. Those seats are expensive as shite and require longterm commitments.

And we dont have a whole lot of t shirt fans. LSU was effectively Lousiana's pro team for decades with the Saints traditionally being terrible.

So what does that make aTm with Houston and Dallas being terrible?

So a large portion of the "older" folks in the stadium makes at least 750k a year? Please define a large portion and older.
