It's that time of year again, pump Texas now, dump us later, rake in the clicks.

I could actually see Texas having a signature year as their last year in the Big12 with the amount of starters they have back and then have all the hype in the world to enter the SEC in 2024 and it inevitably be their downfall.

You said UT; I thought you were referring to Tennessee.

Sark has a career HC winning % of .557 and only one 9-win season.

When Texas inevitably underperforms in 2023, the Urban Meyer rumors will ramp up again just for Texas to end up with another mediocre head coach not named Urban Meyer.

TU....I put my faith in Ewers last year. I won't make the same mistake.

Don’t know who this bloke is, but he seems wise.

Overview:

You have to start with Texas every season, right? They are projected to win the Big 12 and have a ton of talent, but they always seem to disappoint, and I’m not sold on the defense.

What are you talking about? Both are UT. None are TU.

I could see Texas beating Alabama, almost won last year with Hudson Card limping around for 3 quarters. Doesn’t mean we will go to the CFP. We are the kings of playing well against a good team and then tripping over our ducks against someone we have no business losing to.

As long as Joe Milton is accurate and plays like he did against Clemson.

We should have won last year. But the refs and college football have to protect Bama at all costs. Regardless we aren’t winning in Tuscaloosa

If Bama has turned in to an entitled program which seems like they were the last couple years, and they don’t get their QB situation sorted out, the tu could definitely beat them. I’d say Bama, even with their bad QB situation, is probably a 6 point favorite on a neutral field. Makes them 9 points better in Tuscaloosa. 9 point favorites lose almost every week.

No one doubts Sark more than me, but you really don't think it is possible for Ewers to improve? You have never seen a QB do better in their 2nd year as a starter? Are you new to cfb?

The entire Texas starting o-line is back, the LT will eventually be a 1st round pick, one of the best WR rooms in the country, a top 3 TE, loads of good RBs, and a defense that shouldn't suck.

No one thinks QE will be Joe Burrow, but everything is set up for him to have a nice year.
