Sorry if Germans...I searched everywhere from the Elbe to the Rhein, and didn't see a post about this.

Phil Steele breakdown of 2 deep by class:

36t. Ole Miss
36t. Miss. St.
65. Missouri
71t. Auburn
71t. Georgia
82. Kentucky
87t. Alabama
87t. Tennessee
93t. Arkansas
93t. LSU
93t. Vanderbilt
103. South Carolina
112. Texas A&M
127. Florida

By this method...the two Mississippi schools are the most experienced in the league.

He further breaks down total experience by including only senior in the 2 deep, % returning lettermen, % yards returning and % tackles returning. For his total experience matrix, it looks like this:

11. Vanderbilt
23. Kentucky
40. Arkansas
43. Ole Miss
48. Missouri
52. LSU
58. Tennessee
72. Texas A&M
94. Mississippi St.
96. Georgia
106. South Carolina
115. Auburn
124. Alabama
125. Florida

Auburn ends its streak of 19 consecutive seasons being young?

If you have seniors....they aren't good enough for the NFL...do not want (except the OL)

Looks like it's my frequent "show how Phil Steele doesn't know what the frick he's talking about regarding my team" rant.

Breaking it down:

His scores for A&M:

Senior Starters: 5

I count Carson (RB), Matthews (OL), Cheek (OL), Williams (DL), Harris (CB), Williams (CB), Kaser (P), and Bertolet (K).

That's EIGHT you fricking tool.

Senior 2-deep: 4

I count Obioha and Burns. That's 2

Junior Starters: 7

I count Reynolds, Gennesy, Eluemunor, Ifedi, Hall, Hilliard, and George. That's 6

Junior 2-deep: 5

I count Pope, Tabuyo, Stuckey, Walker, and Washington. That's 5. SPOT ON.

Sophomore starters: 9

I count Allen, Noil, Seals-Jones, Garrett, Alaka, Watts, and Evans. That's 7

Sophomore 2-deep: 7

I count White, Ratley, Gustafson, Jackson, Cunningham, Walker, Harvey, Ellis, and Wilson. That's 9

Freshmen starters: 1. Kirk and Mack makes 2

Freshmen 2-deep: 6.

I count Murray, Martin, Davis, Davis, Moore, and Dunning. 6 is spot on. (not sure how to count LaCamera. He's the backup punter and kicker)

Using the CORRECT numbers with his point scale:

3 x 8 = 24
2.5 x 4 = 10
2 x 7 = 14
1.5 x 5 = 7.5
1 x 9 = 9
0.5 x 7 = 3.5

Added together, that makes 68

Subtract 2 for FR starters and 3 for FR 2-deep and that brings us to 63.

Not great, but that puts A&M tied for 75th on his chart, not 112th.

Also, his analysis doesn't take into account upperclassmen who lose their starting jobs to more talented younger players (Example: Julien Obioha was a 3 year starter at Defensive End and is now a backup defensive tackle with Daeshon Hall taking his starting spot at strongside end)

NFLSU: "A&M and Arkansas have empty trophy cases compared to LSU"

(sees signature block which proves him completely wrong)

Not a single poster on this site has seen A&M win a national championship in men's football, basketball or baseball.

Damn.

Have to agree. He's all over the place with his individual/team predictions. He'll have one guy a 3rd team SEC player but 5th best overall at the position etc etc etc.

ETA - We're talking about him. He's done his job.

It's sad that people can live off being repeatedly wrong.

Mel Kiper and Todd McShay are sipping piña coladas out of penis straws somewhere as we speak.

LSU finally has some seniors that should be in the NFL: Alexander, Hawkins, and mills.

This will help a lot this year, we are used to having juniors leave even for rounds 5 through UDFA.

The irony is Lael Collins started this trend of returning. tried to show you could improve your stock and got completely screwed in the process, going undrafted.

Let's just hope KB52 realizes how much money Kwon lost leaving after his JR year. A college degree and SR. money is worth the risk of injury to those not guaranteed to go in the first two rounds after their JR year.

Taylor Bertolet, who can't make an extra point to save his life, is 3rd team All-SEC according to Steele.

Drew Kaser, one of the best punters in America who unfortunately is in a conference LOADED with elite punters, isn't anywhere on Steele's list.

Youll have to inform Donte Hightower and CJ Mosley they aren't NFL caliber players.
