Mullen is a great coach, but this year will test him.

Something will have to wrong for us to go 6-6. We will start out 2-0 as opposed to 1-1 last year. That builds momentum.

most* State fans seem more grounded in the expectations of their football team than other programs, and I think they'd be happy if Mullen was their coach for a long time. I think they understand losing Dak will result in a step back from the last couple of seasons.

OM' season hinges a lot on the first game against FSU. It's huge for momentum. Lose it and they probably win 8; if they win it, they could possibly repeat the '15 season.

I think you're overstating momentum. We lost to Memphis and then followed that by winning 5 out of 6

eh you could also say that after you got killed by florida, you lost 2 of your next 5 games and looked pretty bad against Auburn as well.

I don't think we looked bad against Auburn, a road game in the SEC is never going to be easy

I don't think anyone wants him so he has to stay at MSU.
I don't see much changing , they should still be what they have been since he arrived average at best.

Mullen finished 15th in the country with Chris Relf at QB. This idea that Dak made him is silly.

I will criticize Dan for a lot of things but QB development is not one of them. He has proven to be one of the best in college football.

Y'all beat one team (FL) that finished with a winning record that year. The next, Relf lead you to 6-6 regular season record... again beat one team (LaTech) with a winning record.
