It's kind of like when you were in your prime, if you scored a TD or made a big play, you might do "the twist" or pretend you were sucking down a sweet chocolate shake from local malt shop, and the old folks would say "that hoodlum, he should feel like a fool for doing that new fangled twist thing. If he were a hip 50 year old like myself he would be swing dancing with the flappers." It's kind if like that.
