LSU does not have a chance, according to the pundits. Alabama has the best front 7 in the history of football and LSU cannot handle them.

Good to know. Looks like there is no point to play the game, now.

But, this is actually good for LSU. Looking at the film, it would be easy for LSU to become over confident. This helps keep them focused, I think.

That's not entirely true. So, since what some media guy says about the outcome of game matters to you, I'll tell you that Danny Kannell and Joey Galloway picked LSU.

Feel better now?

No it's not. It doesn't matter to any of them who picks who.

On whatever show Danny Kannel is on he picked LSU and so did his cohost last night. Our local sports radio dude here in Mobile picked LSU. A couple of the al.com sports guys picked LSU. So spare me the "no one thinks we can win" talk

A sampling of some picks out there right now:

From ESPN:

Edward Aschoff: LSU 23, Alabama 20
Alex Scarborough: LSU 24, Alabama 21
Greg Ostendorf: LSU 20, Alabama 17

From Athlon:

Mark Ross: LSU wins

From CBS Sports:

Dennis Dodd - LSU wins
Jon Solomon - LSU wins
Tom Fornelli - LSU wins
Chip Patterson - LSU wins

LSU fans are really trying play up the "disrespect" card for some reason. Doesn't really ring true though. Most people expect a game that can go either way and plenty of people are picking LSU outright.

This matters as much as who is ranked #4 six weeks before the final polls

Well of course they are. Bama is clearly the better team. They have played a tougher schedule thus far, and they have the best coach in college football with 4 straight #1 recruiting classes. Plus Alabama has won the last 4 meetings.
