Yeah well tough shite. Lsu had a really good football team in 2011, but the only thing they're remembered for is 21-0. This Kentucky team will be remembered as the one that lost to Wisconsin in the final 4.

Horrible comparison. LSU didn't set a monumental record. Kentucky also didn't get blown out. If LSU was such a great football team that year they would have scored at least once in the title game.

38-1.

That's hard to do regardless of talent.
This type of thinking is so idiotic. Regardless of talent?!? Okay, so if Kentucky put out there one of the NBA all star teams and you don't think they'd win every game? Kentucky clearly has the most talented team, the biggest team, and the deepest team, BY FAR.. Playing a bad basketball conference like the SEC it is expected the beat these guys. The own team didn't respect the SEC championship when they chose not to cut down the nets after they won. Even they were saying it was championship or bust. They did what they were suppose to do in the regular season and then shite the bed in the tournament.

I don't think there are 10+ NBA guys on this UK team. The other side of the coin is the one thing that not many people are talking about this morning: Wisconsin is really, really, really good.

So do I, but I wasn't talking about Mizzou.

When you start a semi troll thread, expect a backlash. Right now, we are at the fricking bottom of the SEC. Don't put yourself and Mizzou in the spotlight with threads like this.

Congratulate them on a great season, Mizzou has nothing comparable and won't for the foreseeable future.

Wisconsin is great. They are the first team that UK has played all year that has even a close approximation of the size and talent they do and they lost.

UK only has 1 NBA star, but the rest of the guys on the roster are at least bit players or end of the bench guys in the NBA. That's an incredible collection of talent for a college team.

If yall don't think this team will be remembered most for not winning it all than you're crazy

Backlash...whatever, but it's not on topic. Mizzou was horrible this year and likely will be for awhile. We've never had a season like the one UK had. That's all true, yet still irrelevant to the OP.

It's not irrelevant to the OP. It's completely germane to the OP. Your Cal-hate is clouding your judgment on this.

The OP did not once mention Mizzou, any discussion not related to the perception of UKs season is not relevant to the OP. Have it if you want, but it's not.

My opinion is that UKs season was not a success without a national title. This was stated long ago by myself and many others. Feel free to disagree.

Lsu had the most talented team in football that year. Started 13-0, SEC champions. Yet they'll never be remembered as one of the all time great teams, just like this Kentucky team.

It's actually a really good comparison if you think about it.

yea reedtana is the queen of making excuses for Mizzou loss's, but the relevant thing for your fans is that in a few years, all anything anyone will remember about this season is "your team was good but you didn't win the championship". Disappointing end to a good year for you.

No way are there 10 nba players on this Kentucky team. This isn't even one of the top 3 most talented Kentucky teams in the last 20 years. 2 of the 3 best players on the court last night played for Wisconsin. Kentucky goes 10 deep because besides towns, they don't have any great players who are worthy of staying on the floor for 35 minutes a game. They have a lot of good players but only one great player. Wisconsin beating them wasn't a fluke.

That kind of attitude is the root cause of people being such shitheads to each other these days.

You know when Ricky Bobby's dad was saying "If you're not first, you're last" in Talladega Knights? We were supposed to be laughing at what an idiotic notion that is, not make it a societal mantra.

Getting a F4 on top of winning your conference and tourney titles sounds great to me.

I'll be honest, this stings. The main reason it hurts this bad is because we were good enough to make history. If we had lost a game in the regular season, it wouldn't be as painful. But still, I wouldn't trade this for anyone else's.

Tough crowd.NCAA title or not, 38 straight wins and a Final Four appearance is quite a season.
