Ole Miss: 2011, 3-52 loss v. LSU

Went to this game. It was senior day and some of the seniors didn't even come out to be recognized because they hated Nutt. Team was in shambles. I think LSU scored twice in the first 2 minutes and the fans started to leave. By the fourth quarter the LSU fans started doing the Ole Miss cheers when they got 1st downs because no one was left.
The program has come a long way even if they had to cheat to get there.

It only goes back to 1950 (a huge timespan. Games are listed chronologically.

Its not my fault nobody was able to put an egregious, 42+ point beat down on Bama since before WWI

It has been quite a while since Alabama was truly blown out on the score board.

I think we lost to Bama by 50 two years in a row. I remember the game in fayetteville. It was like we quit while the opening kickoff was in the air.

It was 52-0 two years in a row, and Saban took his foot off the gas. They had cheerleaders in at one point

Those were hard times.

Yes. That is Bama's largest margin of defeat ever. They've never lost by 42+.

Not quite but close. In 1906, the super duper early days of football, we lost to Vandy 78-0.

We also lost to Sewanee by 50 in 1907.

Outside of that we have never lost by insane margins.

In fact Alabama has only given up 50 points (in regulation) a total of 3 times (coming in 1900, 1906, and 1907)

That 78-0 Vandy loss in 1906 was unusual because it was out only loss that year. Alabama went 5-1 while beating Tennessee and Auburn....51-0!

Vandy was a powerhouse back then.

In 1906,
they went 8-1,
were conference champs,
had 7 shutouts out of 9 games,
Besides beating Alabama 78-0,
beat Texas 45-0
beat Ole Miss 29-0
beat Kentucky 28-0
Only loss was to Michigan 10-4
