A one loss conference champion Washington would get in over a one loss Aggy that did not even play in the conference title game.

Not necessarily. Depends on who they lose to and how badly.

If Wash drops a game and still wins the Pac-12 it will be a tossup on who gets the 4 spot.

Nope, I am pulling for Auburn and LSU. I want Auburn in the playoffs and could care less about about a few more dollars in the SEC coffers.

Who would the Allied powers then be?

Assuming LSU = Germany, Auburn = Italy, and Tennessee = Japan:

Alabama = USA. Ends up fighting all three and winning. Germany and Italy eventually rebound to respectability but Japan's ability to make war is destroyed indefinitely.

A&M = England. Able to help knock out Italy, but unable to defeat Germany on their own. Provide a little bit of help to defeat Japan, but not as much as others due to geography.

Florida = Russia. Used to be somewhat cordial with Germany but recent transgressions have turned them against each other. No real help against Italy. Japan doesn't frick with them because they know they'll lose almost every time and are being pummeled by the US.

Ole Miss = France. Bends over for Germany and Italy, ultimately making it more difficult for England and USA. Everyone enjoys their women.

Georgia = China. Sleeping giant with no real unified leadership, though they help where they can. Japan inflicts occasional devastating losses on them.

South Carolina = Australia. Can't really help much to defeat Germany or Italy. Japan is generally too strong for them but they're able to pull out occasional victories which make for LOLs around the world.

Nice try. Everyone knows that Bama is the evil empire, and Auburn is the Jedi taking them down.

A) Under this scenario you're suggesting that we root for ourselves to lose to them.
B) Why would I hope a team who we heavily recruit against make the playoffs?
C)This is why basketball schools should stick to starting March Madness threads.

I over read the part about teams not playing the Ags, but B still applies

The winner of the ACC, SEC, and B1G are all in guaranteed.

Va Tech and UNC ain't getting in if they were to beat Clemson in the title game. And if they did, Clemson shouldn't get in either depending on other factors. They drew crap in the Coastal division, and will possibly end the season after the title game with only 3 games against the top 25. ACC title game should have to be a must win for them if there are better resumes closing out their seasons on fire.
