I'm too old to be fighting. But im not obtuse enough to think everyone is going to turn the other cheek or necessarily should in all cases.

There is no way to know how many times this actually happens. Probably more times than we can imagine.

So every time you've made a piss-poor judgement you had to face felony charges? Sheesh man.

Under oath, correct?

As such, misdemeanor battery is justified. Agreed that the felony was the first step, but the charges ended up at the proper level.

LSU Media and Athletics work with these guys all the time and it's a constant reminder to them not to step out of bounds because of the "spotlight/limelight/highlight" they are under 24-7.

JJ made a very poor decision, for whatever reason, and has paid the price.

There is no purpose in portraying he is victim or was unjustly accused/charged.

Move on.

He's just as much if not more of a victim as Lowery. There is no reason to paint Lowery as a victim, but that doesnt stop people from doing it on a constant basis.

Had JJ not been a prominent member of te LSU football team, he would have never been arrested and for damn sure not charged with a felony.

I agree 100% with this.

I consider this along the lines of people throwing in the Marine part. He stalked, and harassed a girl. He's not a victim in any shape or form.

Never been charged with a felony. I've made some very astute decisions that came back to haunt me tho.

It's not like he stole a laptop then threw it out the window when the cops came to question him. It's not like he was allegedly gonna be kick out of Florida for cheating. It's not like his dad allegedly shopped his qb service to multiple sec teams.

In before who would pay for the qb services JJ could provide.

Coming back to planet earth, if you were walking across a parking lot and saw a man and woman fighting, what would you do? Do you even know what they're fighting about? Has it ever happened to you? If I saw a man hitting a woman, I'd intervene. I wouldn't go apeshit on him.

So what was your point again?

My point was what did AL do to warrant an arse whipping, and what business was it of JJ's? The point was pretty fukn clear.

He did a ton to deserve it including instigating the fight and throwing the first punch inside the bar. Not on JJ but he was taking up for his teammates. Probably not the wisest decision but i really cant get mad at him for finishing what Lowery started.

Lowery was the instigator. That isnt even up for debate. It's like you dont even know the facts of the case.

Read the police report. Read the police statements. Read the statements by the DA. In case you didn't hear, JJ was arrested for a felony. AL was not.

Correct, but he was not charged with a felony. The Grand Jury returned an indictment on a misdemeanor.

Has nothing whatsoever to do with the video that you idiotically cited as having some value in your assertions.

In fact, any evidence coming from that video, would serve to exculpate JJ.

That's why you had no "fukn" point at all.

You mean that awesome police report that was taken 2 fricking hours after the incident? BRPD fricked this whole thing up from the get-go.

Also, please link me to the DA's statement that there was plenty of evidence to support JJ kicking the guy in the head.

Proof positive that JJ is more of a victim than Lowery.

This thread has it all.

I hope none of the LSU posters have never cast aspersions about the delusions and fanaticism of the Bama fanbase again. They are two peas in a pod.

If taking amusement watching a delusional and entitled fanbase castigate another delusional and entitled fanbase is a crime, then let me be guilty.
