It's not unfathomable. Alabama lost to a good ole miss team and clobbered a&m 59-0. That was a completely dominant game. Plus, everyone knows nick saban is the best/one of the best coaches.
Putting bama at number 1 is not "full retard"- in fact, it's your mindset of poll ranking logic that is archaic. I agree with putting the best teams at the top, not ordering them based on their records.
