Connor Shaw is like that girl from high school with no standards. He doesn't always get the love he wants but he was always there when you needed to score.

You must be straight leg infantry because no Airborne Infantry would ever post anything that fricking stoopid.

Unless you are SF or Ranger those Airborne wings are worthless. When is the last time you did a combat jump?

lulz - sheesh. So you're weekend warrior too huh.

I've got a combat device on the base of both wings leg. You honestly do not want to compare DD 214s with me - but if you do, and you want to put some money where your mouth is, then I have a website where we've all been vetted and hang-out where you are more than welcome to join, go through the vetting process and then meet me in one of the closed forums to compare salad.

I've got former privates and butter bars who served with me and/or under me who are now CSMs and Division Commanders ... although many of them are now retired.

You just, ... I mean, .... I don't ... whatever. lol

Eta: And thanks for proving me right leg, no Airborne Infantry would ever post something as stooopid as you posted.

Now I know you are blowing smoke. Your device means nothing as I have stated you have done no combat jumps and those wings are as useful as any other device. If you are going to combat you can bet you are flying a plane the whole way and not jumping. Also your DD214 is of no concern to me as I have my own with plenty on there as I served multiple tours. Having worked with Airborne units while deployed I can tell you at no point did they jump out of anything. They flew in our Helicopters with us and walked the mountains with all that gear. The last time airborne was useful, except SF ,Ranger or special operations, was in WW2.
Also if you are referring to the Brotherhood of the Infantry I am already a member. No one in their right mind would post their DD214 or any other such document on a public forum. If you took a poor joke that serious you are in need of help.
If you are referring to earning a arrowhead device guess what I have one as well. So do a lot of guys who were inserted into "enemy territory" via helicopter.

I feel like this play gets way overblown in terms of significance it had on the game. It was the first possession of the second half.

but it came after the only time we stopped the Dawgs offense in the second half. We would've scored and taken the lead for the first time, which would've been huge.

I get what you're saying but we only stopped Georgia twice all game. We needed to capitalize on both of those stops

I'm not going to argue with a fellow combat Infantryman. You did what you wanted to do in the Infantry and I did what I wanted to do. As for the joke it was supposed to be stupid that was the idea. I like Conner Shaw as I stated in the post.
I just do not get this hatred towards legs/Air Assault guys. No one is jumping any where we all just walk through the mountains. If you got to experience a combat jump than congrats and I am glad you made it safely. Much respect to your service in the Infantry. Can we just be cordial now.
