Hell no, a-hole. Every State fan out there wants to whack the gumps almost as much as they do Ole Miss every season. They just hide it because it's usually not likely to happen. However, the liquor has told me it's happening this season, so I'm going to shout it from the rooftops for months until it happens.

Who will replace Adams and Lawson?

5* DT Derrick Brown who flashed more potential as a true freshman than Adams did. We're pretty stacked at DT actually.

At DE there's nobody who's as good of a pass rusher as Lawson (not many people in the country were) but you got former 5* Marlon Davidson who is a better all around player than Lawson. For pass rushing and the buck position remember the names Jeff Holland, Nick Coe, and Paul James III. All are very good.

Is Cowart a DT or DE?

He's been moved to DT this spring and by all accounts looks very good. Put on a lot of muscle weight since he's been at AU and our DL coach says it's a more natural position for him

And do y'all still have Steele?

Yeah, the guy who coached the #7 scoring defense in the country last year. Thanks for him, he's been very good to us

Says history is irrelevant then brings up 2016 result and O's record.

You brought up a game from 2 years ago where a player that will be in the NFL when we play again did the most damage, and you brought up a QB who isn't on your team any more. Um yeah, that is irrelevant

The game from last season where we shut down the QB that will be leading you team again this season. That is a bit more relevant than what you mentioned.

Etling is your only valid point and he's going to improve under Canada.

Yeah I would hope so, most players tend to improve season to season. How much is the question. You can only polish a turd so much.

The narrative coming from LSU fans sure sounds identical to what y'all were spouting when Cameron was hired.

And I notice you failed to respond to anything about Coach O. That is a valid point as well.

Alabama should be on the top of this list because their shot at Atlanta and the Natty ends this year in Davis Wade. Saban will "retire" at the end of this season accordingly. Mississippi State may only have 2 wins this season, but rest assured they will at least beat Bama and Ole Miss.

From losing 51-3 to retiring Saban. Lol.

It was a different team under Les dude. The offense was hot garbage.

Led a team that held Alabama to its lowest scoring output all year. Beat Ole Miss, Arkansas, Missouri, A&M, and Louisville. Seems fine to me.

So Auburn is going to be relying on unproven players? Cowart is the only one that has significant playing time I believe. I think I remember Jeff Holland as well.

Marlon Davidson started last year. Brown and Holland both got more playing time than Cowart as well.

We actually return most of last year's defense. 3 starters and one part time starter graduated. Lawson, Adams, Rudy Ford and Josh Hosley

Only lost 3 starters on offense too. We probably return one of the most experienced teams in the conference

Gonna have to go back and watch some tape then. Need to get used to these names.

That's good then. The secondary should be pretty solid then, too, right?

It certainly appears so

Oh yeah. Most talented secondary at Auburn since 2004 IMO

Carlton Davis and Javaris Davis should be starters at CB and at safety Trey Matthews and Nick Ruffin

LSU fans may remember Ruffin from his freshmen year during the 41-7 game

Ok. Good luck with that. LSU is just chopped liver, don't worry about them. Etling sucks even though he had yall beat last year at your place in the game your team had to win in order to keep your coach. You play in tiger stadium more than likely at night and lsu is very talented on both sides of the ball because we out recruit auburn every year. You haven't won in br since 1999 and have only won 5 out of 22 games ever here. Etling had auburn beat last year except for miles clock management. Auburn will not be favored to win this game, you can bet on that.

Should I expect him to be ejected every game?

No, not betting. Just addressing your overconfidence and why it's ridiculous. That's all.

That was a BS targeting call, so no.

That was clean. Wasn't that the 1st year of targeting calls? And early in the season so refs were still learning the rule. That doesn't get called or gets overturned if it happened now.

Take a look in the mirror. LSU fans are showing their arse more than anybody.

Your fanbase is expecting to compete with Bama and be a championship contender with Orgeron and Etling leading the way, and you want to talk about somebody else's overconfidence? laughable

Defenseless player getting hit directly in the head purposefully. It's targeting every single time. If he would've wrapped up or hit him in the chest it wouldn't have been.

You act as if LSU is going to be trash this year.

This is the funniest part. Did you forget that the game was 0-0 going into the 4th?

Nobody said that. But there's zero reason to expect for LSU to have a championship caliber team or take some huge step from last season

It's literally textbook targeting. It doesn't get much easier to call it.

What? Seriously... what? Finally getting rid of the Les Miles 1990s offense with a boatload of talent on offense. Aranda in his second year with a shite ton of talent on defense. Everyone is expecting a huge step forward from last year/
