Ah! Okay. I actually had to think for a moment why one would fear the thumb (yes, Vandy educamashion at work.) And I think I must have known the Trooper Taylor reference at one time because it sounds familiar.

I enjoyed watching him win back to back BCS titles and win many games for Bama. He probably will go down as one of the top two QBs in Bama history based on success. What am I missing here? During his time at Bama should we have been ridiculing him for winning games and looking pretty good doing it? I think he is a very good QB and can have a decent NFL career. He isn't going to be a superstar or anything, but the kid will hang around the league for awhile and might even start a few games. If only you could suck that bad.

Just like I predicted in the Tre Mason thread, Auburn fans are already claiming that Bama fans have been hyping McCarron as an elite NFL quarterback prospect.

I think AJ should thank ESPN for doing that. He was listed as the #1 available player for like three rounds until they showed him drafted by the Ravens then his name came off their best available list. It made it more apparent teams were passing on him the longer his name was on there. Conspiracy?
