Case in point, Roc got his first real opportunity against an SEC team when we played Miss St. Previous to that he just wasn't allowed to play much at all even against the cupcakes.
He was finally inserted into a game that mattered with the game on the line in the first quarter against Miss St. We were already down 21-0 to them because no one else could hold onto the ball or move it. CAP was being stymied at the line for little to no gains. So in comes Roc on about our 4th series. His first run he busts free for 11 yards to the Miss St. 36 yard line(our first real scoring threat of the day). He was given the ball again where he busted off yet another 7 yard gain to the Miss St. 29 yard line. Keep feeding it to him right? So we did. His next run he busted off an 18 yard run to the Miss St. 11 yard line. We're about to score finally. Out he goes never to be seen from again until it was too late. In comes CAP for a 2 yard gain. Marhsall gets sacked. Then throws an incompletion and Carlson misses the FG. Nice Malzahn Real nice!
Gus literally shite the bed with him this past year. That was just an example of some of the boneheaded decisions with him this past year. If you're going to burn a redshirt at least play him. Gus' use of ROC was a travesty.
