I fear Serraneaux has had a stroke. You are not our rivals. We want to play you every year not because we see you as our natural rivals... but... well... you are the Vols. When you are down, which you have been, you are an easy out. When you are good, which has been some time, you are a great team to play for SOS.

I think both teams wind up in the 8-4 or 7-5 range next year. A disaster in, say, the ACC, but respectable in the SEC for rebuilding programs.

Would be another good step.

I'd like one of those 8 wins to be against one of UGA, UF or Bama, if that is what we get.

Good article. I agree that both teams should have more success. But it's difficult to predict how much more success at this point. The Tennessee - Arkansas game should be a good one.

Don't get me wrong, during our down years, you were 2-2 against us. I'd love to play Arkansas and get an easier win than say vs playing someone like Bama.

I don't understand the UT/Arky shite flinging going on. I hope we both tear shite up in our respective divisions.

8-4 and a trip to the Outback Bowl work for you guys?

Even better, they brought back the Citrus Bowl.

Good one. I guess Florida will be one of the Top teams in the East with a new coach and system. Mizzou will drop down to 2-6 in the SEC

One team ends up 8-4 & the other 7-5..

Hogs @ Vols Oct. 3rd will determine that outcome

The very fact that we play them next year means they'll be serious West contenders. Just the way it goes.

That said, both schools are turning corners. I think we're on a faster pace than Ark but maan if Ark finds a QB to go with their run game they could be dangerous.

I can dig it. We are bound by more suffering than any fan base should have to endure, yours worse in the short term whereas ours has been tecnically "better" but longer.

Time to whip day asses piggilicious!

Lord I hope so, would never want a rivalry with a team as bad as ours or worse.. We are building to beat the top of the SEC, not the bottom dwellers.

Geesh!

Simply looking for another win here! Capish?

I did too. I had some of the best times with Arky fans visiting and not one bad experience - NOT ONE!

They were a great group and truly fun.

Joking aside, I'd love to play the Vols every year. They have great tradition and a solid fan base. I think they are a team finally rebuilding after a prolonged dumpster fire... which we can relate too... and in the coming years they should be a fairly solid team. I'd rather play a good team then a bum of the week team.

Hogs will be the better team most likely. TN could get lucky and have a lil better conference record due to playing in the eastern dumpster fire division of SEC. I'll give ol rock top that.
