Hurd was tough. The day we played him anyway. May have sucked the rest of the year. Chubb and fournette were not. We'll still still beat him again though.

He should've won it last year.

I love that annual preseason touting of the Vols, next will be the annual "UT loses to OOC team"; then the "Vols lose to Florida in agonizing fashion"; and finally the "Bama beats Vols fans turn on Coach" game only for the cycle of hope to begin a new as the easy late season schedule buoys VolNation et al to think 2017 is Tennessee's year.

Vols have groundhog year. Endless cycle of preseason hype and then a loss to UF and Bama.

No, he shouldn't have. He had a total of 7 regular season rushing touchdowns, 4 against UCLA, and 13 total. Most of his stats came against really shitty teams or on special teams. He was great but no where near productive enough for the Heisman; several voters stated so publically on ESPN that his lack of scoring cost him a lot of votes.

Wait, I thought the local trap star was dog shite per every Alabama fan

No......physically he was fine, mentally he couldn't get over the "me 1st" attitude. Told several recruits that Bama lies and wouldn't play freshman even if they were better (like he thought he was). Always thought of the four, Henry included, that he would be the best.

He doesn't deserve to be the most talked about player on his team, much less the SEC. He's not talked about for a reason.

Hurd has more power than the other two. Chubb and Fournette have better top end speed but Hurd is a powerback that loves using his body as wrecking ball. He's happy running straight into a defender and knocking them down. He's the perfect RB for playing a defense like Bama's.

Hurd's 4.6 ypc will not garner a single Heisman vote, let alone the trophy.
