Wouldn't that be easier say, maybe, after the seasons were over?

Let's be real. From a talent standpoint, this would be hard to dispute. But Les and Johnny are birds of a feather in their ability to build great talent into slightly disappointing teams.

Nice timing. I got nothing but downvotes when I posted this 4 hours ago.

It's never too German to reinforce the empire Les and Johnny are building

Honestly, with your nice football schedule and the ags' basketball team pretty loaded, I wouldn't be shocked if you joined big brother on the list

We're gonna join Bama on the list.

Oh, ESPN hates them and ESPN sucks.... until ESPN picks them to win. Same thing with Herbstreit. And the other guy whose name escapes me.

You could replace LSU with any school in the country, and you'd get the same result.

JuiceTerry,

I had to ever freaking agree with a damn Bama fan on anything, but brother you have the nail in the head with a hammer on this one.

Michigan State not being #1 is a joke.

I'm so tired of haters acting like LSU's basketball team was the '96 Bulls last season. We had 4 guys playing 35 minutes a game, one injured throughout conference play (Mickey), and our two freshmen bigs were injured all season. Are people really just mindblown we lost to a sweet 16 team on a near buzzer beater?

From a rebuilding standpoint Johnny is schooling Mike Anderson and Frank Martin

That's actually a great point. I would think it'd be: MSU, LSU, Wisconsin, OU, and Baylor

TigerBait, I like Johnny but that team had Sweet 16 written all over it. Trouble is with basketball now, you cant built shite so you have to take advantage of your chances. Everyone is 1 and down or maybe two years max. That team was better than it's record, talent wise.

Seems like part of the criteria is having a major household name in both sports.

We had zero depth and it showed the second half of the NC State game. This year we finally have great depth under CJJ.

Also you can't just overlook how unpredictable March Madness is. Every year 4-5 talented, well coached teams get upset in the early rounds. It's a lot more unpredictable than a bowl game

So you are slightly above mediocre in two sports. Congrats?

I didn't know top-15 out of hundreds of college football programs was "above mediocre" but I mean you are from Georgia aka #MediocrityU
