Well that is stupid, even as an LSU fan here, if you do not think a DC has anything to do with a player for 3-4 years, then you know nothing about football. Yes a position coach will spend more time with them over a longer period of time. But if any LSU fans does not think John Chavis is not a good DC, then they need to stop.

That having been said, John will need to have a chat with Kevin about the tempo come SEC play, as when you reel off consecutive 3 and outs that last 15-40 seconds it really hurts the defense. As A&M gets older they will only get better. People here said Chavis is only good with superior talent, well Myles Garrett will be the best defensive player maybe in America his junior year.

Nice hire Aggies, butt don't get too comfortable you will know soon enough that 3rd and Chavis is real .
