Hopefully they start with the Liberal wanker SJW-types that have made that network nearly un-watchable.I'm never sure if I'm watching a ball game or getting a stern moral lecture on some fricking liberal cause or the other. I liked them better when they weren't moral fundamentalists.

ESPN should stick to basketball, college game day and 30 for 30s.
They also should bring back the Outdoor Games.

They should layoff The Bear on College GameDay. What exactly is his purpose on that show anyways? lol.
Sure it would suck for him and his family, but there is no need for what he does on that show.

If I worked at ESPN and got canned over Jemele I'd be pissed.
Let's be honest, It would be racist to let her go.

It would be hilarious if Steven A Smith lost his job after he threatened Kevin Durant with being his enemy.
That was the most ridiculous monologue I've ever heard on tv.

He used to be good, as OSU has returned, so has his his homer side. Of all of the OSU media folks though, he is the most bearable.

These are probably all off screen jobs. Writers, producers and such
more than likely, they have a lot of these positions. They have a crazy amount of "producers", they will probably trim some fat though in their own air though, but probably no one noticeable

That's what you get, when you frick up from giving a ESPY to a woman with balls over one person who died from cancer and a disabled WAR veteran.
Screw ESPN

Problem with ESPN is they are connected to out dated cable networks. They should become a steam only platform and charge a subscription, they would make more money than having to sign contracts with the shitty cable providers.

Agreed those three need to go.
SEC network has some that need a pink slip also.
Start with those annoying lochamy turds.

They have tried to right the ship by offering a streaming service over xbox and phone apps etc, but yes the fall of cable is hurting them badly.

KH is the best in the business. I'll give him some slack on the OSU homer'ism.

They need to learn a lesson from hbo, and be ready to sell subscriptions to individual consumers. ESPN and sports are a huge reason cable isn't dead yet. Other than live sports, everything else I can stream for a low cost. Even with sling tv, they still bundle bullshite networks that I don't want to pay for.

Obertard was one of them, so at least one good thing in this.
I take this as good news. Somebody at the Mouse is starting to take note of the bottom line and even looking at the overview of the financials. They might even notice the rather bad deal ESPIN struck for themselves w/ Bevo, and put two and two together realizing that a UT Austin grad was running the place when the deal went down.
Soon we will be back to the fun days of the Bevo talking to PAC/ACC/TEN rumor mill and their dwarves all jockeying for postion hoping to be the tag along. Maybe then ESPN will realize the golden goose it has in the SECN and start investing in it accordingly.

Hate to see them laying off, but glad they aren't doing well. Maybe they should have chosen someone beside Bruce Jenner's alter ego as their Most Courageous "it" of the year of whatever it was. Buncha libtards better change their ways.
