Hell, if Va Tech doesnt get called for a holding penalty all year, their stats will probably be way better than Bama's

We got called for holding in that game, I believe. And that was an SEC crew.

Evans and Williams are no joke and are easily in the top 5 for RB units. Still think Ingram/Richardson > Evans/Williams

If Ingram and TR are better it isnt much. Besides the group that focuses on helping the team win and not their stats will have the more satisfying season anyway. This is much ado about nothing.

Virginia Tech's running backs are every bit as talented as Alabama's...

VTs backs are good but it's hard for me to believe Evans/Williams are better than Ingram/Richardson. Last week or so ESPN showed the Doak Walker watch list and the VT duo was listed, whereas only Ingram was listed for Bama. I know they're good but I doubt they're as good as ours. Richardson would start for any other team in the country.

2009 Ryan Williams -
293 car, 1655 yards, 5.65 YPC, 21 TD
16 rec, 180 yards, 1 TD
= TRUE FRESHMAN

Darren Evans was hurt all of 2009
2008 Darren Evans -
287 car, 1265 yards, 11 TD
17 receptions, 177 yards
WAS A TRUE FRESHMAN IN 2008

2009 Mark Ingram
271 carries, 1658 yards, 6.11 ypc 17 TD
32 receptions, 334 yards, 3 TD

So yeah, Ingram was good, and Richardson threw up 700 yards as a back up, but both of VTs backs broke records in the ACC AS TRUE FRESHEN!!!!

They are the real deal. Just as good as Alabama when you consider how much worse the VT OL is.
