Sitting in restaurant and it is on the TV right now. Volume is down, but I've seen it before. Herschel was a man among boys. I just can't say anything bad about him. As a fan of opposing teams, it was both frustrating and remarkable watching him play. It was like watching Michael Jordan during his prime.

And he wasn't even the best running back in the conference when he played. Walker was, I guess still is, a fantastic athlete.

Best athlete to come through Georgia. I imagine watching Herschel was like watching Cam x5.

Not sure who you are talking about. South Carolina was not in the SEC then, so it wouldn't be George Rogers. Besides Herschel should have won the Heisman his freshman year. He was much better than Rogers.

Bo Jackson, who played later, was also an incredible athlete, but Herschel was a better college football player.

Best part, Donald Trump tricked him into leaving early for UsFL. Tried to come back, but Trump wouldn't let him.

Herschel was full of so much anger.

Practically the very coach, player, sports writer, etc. outside Auburn, AL disagrees with you. Stop embarrassing yourselves, Aubies. Herschel was the best ever........ever.

Is it a miniseries to cover the many faces of Herschel?

I freaking love Herschel walker. But bo Jackson was a better running back

Without knowing his hip turned into an 80 year old mans hip, bo Jackson would be top ten on anybody's list of you had to start a NFL franchise who would you want at rb

In terms of college history. Herschel is more significant. But in overall significance and ability bo Jackson is better

Herschel was the best workhorse of all-time. Nobody will ever single handily carry the load how he did for Georgia again.

But that doesn't make him the GOAT running back.

Bo Jackson was without a doubt the better RB. Bo averaged had a significantly higher yard per carry average and scored touchdowns at a higher clip too. He was more dangerous and a bigger homerun threat, and could do more things with the ball in his hand than Herschel could

Bo>Herschel

That said, Barry Sanders was better than both and is the GOAT college RB.

No gold medal, but a 7th place finish at the 92 Winter Olympics in the two-man bobsled isn't too shabby!
