ESPN's latest Bracketology only has 3 SEC teams in the NCAA tournament:

Florida - 1 seed
Missouri - 9 seed
Ole Miss - 11 seed

(*Kentucky is listed in the "First 4 Out" and Alabama in the "Next Four Out" so there is a chance things could change for the better (of course there is just as good a chance that Ole Miss drops out, incredibly leaving the SEC with only 2).)

Not only are there only 3 teams, two are low seeds. If this held true, would this be the worst SEC representation in the tournament since the tournament began?

I know in 2010 the SEC had 4 teams - a 1, 4, 6, and 10 seed, which seems strong compared to this year.

After opening round we will all have to root for the Gators in the sweet 16.

Mizzo guard too undisciplined and don't think Ole Miss will advance past first round either.

The SEC should drop basketball and concentrate on something they can compete in at the highest level.

If one of you other teams could give us a serviceable center, we'd advance at least to the Sweet 16.

No the frick we don't. Just because you're in the SEC now doesn't mean you HAVE to pull for every sec school, pull for who you want to.

I'd rather be in Ole Miss' spot with an 11 seed instead of an 8/9 seed.

BuckeyeFan it is kind of funny, but you know what's funnier?

Last Big 10 National Championship in basketball: 2000. Number of SEC national champions since then 3.

Last Big 10 National Championship in football: 2002. Number of SEC national champions since then: 8.

Last Big 10 National Championship in baseball: 1966. Number of SEC national champions since then: 9.

Exactly. Because we're in the sec I realize how unberable most of you are and therefore do not root for your school when they play anyone.

And I wouldn't expect anyone to do any differently.

Numbers are from Wikipedia, but I think they are accurate. It's pretty shocking and should be sobering for BuckeyeFan.

You sound like you know your basketball. Who should get in over Missouri and Ole Miss (that's not already part of the projected field) and why? Or are you just messing around?
