Will they have to call that national semi final the "Sugar Bowl"?

Outside of the top 6 (Sugar, Orange, Rose, Fiesta, Cotton, and Peach) all others are chosen by the conferences. So, technically there is no ranking of which bowl is better than any other.

I hate this new bowl system. Its College Selection bowl, Citrus bowl, then everybody else for the SEC.

Citrus Bowl
SEC vs. Big Ten/ACC (1/1/15, 12 p.m. CT, ABC) 12MF Season Ticket Holders/Donors - Request Tickets

After the CFP selection process the Citrus Bowl (1/1/15, 1 p.m. ET, ABC) gets the first selection of available SEC Teams. The Citrus Bowl would be required to take the runner up in the SEC Championship Game once during the six-year term.

The Citrus bowl might take Georgia over Ole miss for viewership reasons.

I could live with either of those matchups. Wisconsin and Nebraska both struggle with the forward pass so we would have a decent chance of holding them under 40.

Belk or Taxslayer? That's it, I'm a Bama fan now. Let them enjoy the jinx that is my allegiance.

Duke vs Tennessee would be neat.

Do not want, we want either Texas or Notre Dame.

I could enjoy me some Tennessee-Texas and A&M-Notre Dame (assuming, of course, that A&M-Texas won't happen).

Do the Belk and Birmingham pick at the same time or is one ahead of the other in the pecking order?
no belk is in the group of 6 that is selected after the citrus. Then Birmingham is selected then Shreveport.

Ole Miss being ranked ahead of Mizzou and Georgia bodes well for us.

My guess:

Sugar - Bama
Cotton - MSU/Ole Miss
Peach - Ole Miss/MSU
Citrus - Mizzou
Outback - UGA
Gator (Tax Slayer) - Auburn
Music City - LSU
Texas - A&M
Belk - Florida
Liberty - Tennessee
Birmingham - USCe
Independence - Arky

Leaves USCe and Arky in need of homes

Their are still Toilet bowls left for SEC

Birmingham Bowl

The Birmingham Bowl selects after the CFP, Citrus Bowl and the Pool of Six Bowls (Outback Bowl, TaxSlayer Bowl, Music City Bowl, Texas Bowl, Belk Bowl and Liberty Bowl).

Independence Bowl

vs. ACC (12/27/14, 2:30 p.m. CT, ABC) 12MF Season Ticket Holders/Donors - Request Tickets

The Independence Bowl selects after the CFP, Citrus Bowl, the Pool of Six (Outback Bowl, TaxSlayer Bowl, Music City Bowl, Texas Bowl, Belk Bowl and Liberty Bowl) and the Birmingham Bowl.
