Well we've done it 6 times. Come pretty close twice in the last 10 years despite having 5 of our worst seasons ever.
eta: I realize close doesn't count but it's something.

Not trying to be a dick, but I don't consider coming close to making the SEC Championship game close to winning an SEC Championship.
Georgia was close to winning the SEC Championship in 2012.

I agree. Just using those two examples as a reason why it's not unfathomable that someone could think we could ever do it as many here would like to believe.
